Mike Pozo: It's OK to be NOBODY

Mike Pozo is back with his brand-new solo show "It’s Okay to Be Nobody: – a hilarious, honest, and high-energy comedy special about life as a professional foreigner, scientist, father, and existential wanderer.

Known for his dynamic stage presence and the occasional microphone-yelling, Michal takes you on a journey through his life experiences, from building a comedy scene in China to becoming a dad in Vienna. With sharp observations, absurd musings, and side-splitting storytelling, he explores what it means to exist in a world that’s constantly trying to define you.

Born in Slovakia, raised in Petržalka, matured in Prague (Kolej Sázava), and seasoned in cities across Europe and Asia, he now calls Vienna home. If you have been to any English stand-up comedy night in Vienna, you’ve probably seen Mike Pozo on stage. His comedy journey began over 10 years ago in China, where he founded the Chengdu Comedy Club, organizing, hosting, and headlining shows in Western China. During his time there, he opened for comedy giants like Kyle Kinane, Mark Normand, and Sean Patton, proving himself as a powerhouse performer.

In 2018, he competed in an international comedy festival in Shanghai, and in 2019, he moved to Vienna, where he quickly became a staple in the local comedy scene. Now, as a new father and a seasoned comedian, he’s back to deliver his sharp-witted take on identity, parenthood, science, and navigating life as a perpetual outsider.
