Racine’s repertoire draws a line in the sand often approaching an experience close to devastation through sound, bringing to mind dramatic descriptions like “uncompromising”. His albums for Danse Noire are skin-strippingly abrasive, while his recent outings on Gin&Platonic and HAUNTER Records bare bones of an adventurous take on club music informed by sound design, hydrochloric acid, attrition.

LilaTesla piqued our interest at the latest Gin&Platonic event at Ankali; a playful yet adept mosaic of dancefloor ambience, the soothing embrace offered on her debut EP becomes splintered by glitch and noise, wandering emotions distilled into a moment of time.
