Brno Second Annual Red Dress Run

Come one, come all, and join the Brno Hash House Harriers as we once again put on our best red dresses and run through the city to raise money for charity.

Like last year, we will be raising money for Vesna - https://spolekvesna.cz/en/homepage/ - a great local charity that offers educational, social, and recreational activities for women in need, along with assisting with humanitarian aid for families in need.

Also like last year, ALL MONEY RAISED through this event will go directly to Vesna - there are no middle men or promotional materials or anything else that need to be paid for first!

How does it work: Simply show up at Moravske Namesti - by PARQ Espresso Bar. at 1pm on Saturday 16th September, ideally wearing a red dress - even the men - but failing that red clothing of any kind will be acceptable. And if you don't have anything red to wear, fear not, as there will be a chance to borrow something at the start!

There will be TWO trails which will have been pre-marked - one for people who like to run (approx 8km), and one for people who prefer a relaxing walk (approx 5km). For both groups there will be optional pay as you go drink stops along the way.

We are requesting a donation of 150czk per person in advance, or 200czk per person on the day. Children are welcome to join for free. As stated, ALL MONEY RAISED will go directly to Vesna to help them continue their fantastic work.

The whole thing should be over at 5pm, and we will end at Vesna where we might sing some silly songs to celebrate completion of the event, and where there will be some refreshments (beer and wine) provided for free, along with an option to use an electric barbecue for those people who like to do such things!

At this point the amount raised will also be confirmed and announced.
