Mila Panic and Abi Mohanty are a powerful duo with different paces and styles and they playfully tackle the themes of sex and culture, uncovering the selective empathy and hypocrisy in a society. It sounds like we are using big words but, trust us, we will make you laugh and gasp at the same time!
Who are we?
Abi Mohanty is a Berlin-based comedian. Born in India, she didn't go far from the stereotype of being a software engineer. While that fills her pockets, comedy fills the void in her heart. Currently converting childhood trauma into jokes one show at a time, Abi has been performing all over Europe, usually in places where Ryanair goes.
Mila Panic, born in Bosnia, is a stand-up comedian and artist, which makes her double unemployed. She has also performed in many countries such as Germany, Austria, Kosovo, Spain, New York, Croatia and the Czech Republic as well as at the Belgrade StandUp Comedy Festival. Her humour deals intensively with the personal experiences of growing up in a war-torn society and the experiences of living in a Western country, sex, incest etc. and her comedic style is dark, laced with deep, intelligent irony.
